Text Box: Christmas Village Handmade Arts & Crafts Market December 11, 2010 Parklane Academy 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 1115 Parklane Road McComb, MS 39648 September 2009 Dear Arts & Crafts Vendor, Southwest Mississippi Artisans would like to cordially invite you to exhibit and sell your work at our annual Christmas Village (formerly Handmade Arts and Crafts Market) It will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Parklane Academy, 1115 Parklane Road, McComb, MS from 9:00 a.m. til 4:00 p.m. Enclosed is an official application form which we hope you will complete and return at your earliest convenience. Also included are the rules and regulations which we ask all of our vendors to follow. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. DIRECTIONS: From I-55 north or south take exit 17 and go east on Delaware Avenue to the 2nd red light. Turn left onto West Street and the Amory is in the 3rd block on your left. Arts & Crafts Booths

We welcome artists, artisans, and craftsmen to participate in Christmas Village.  Only your handmade arts and crafts.  Absolutely NO purchased items or toys allowed.  Please be respectful of this request.

 

Electricity

Limited access to electricity is available.  You are responsible for electrical cords, etc

 

Set Up

Friday setup will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Saturday setup will begin at 6:00 a.m.  Participants must provide their own tables,

chairs, and displays.  All tables must be covered to the floor.  Booths will be inspected by SMA members prior to opening.  Doors will be open for sales at 9:00 a.m. 

Security will be provided for outside from 8:00 p.m. til 6:00 a.m.  Inside booths will be under lock and key.

 

Parking

Vendor parking will be in a designated parking area.  You will be directed to this area. 

 

Christmas Elf Helpers  

Elves will be available to help with setup and take down.  Payment to be determined between the vendor and the elf. 

 

Restrictions

SMA reserves the right to regulate the level of sound from all booths.

No pets allowed in vendor booths.  SMA is not responsible for pets.

Vendors must comply with all rules and regulations of SMA and the Mississippi National Guard Armory. 

 

Sales

Exhibitors must have someone in the booth between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Mississippi sales tax of 7% will be collected from each vendor prior to the end of the day.

 

 No Packing Up Early

Packing up will be from 4:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m.  All exhibitors must be out of the building by 7:00 p.m.  All exhibitors must collect and pay 7% MS sales tax the day of the show.  Paperwork will be provided and will be collected between 3:00 – 3:30. 

 

Cancellation Policy

This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of severe weather (tornado, thunderstorms, hurricane watches/warnings) the show could be canceled under an Emergency Management advisory.  No refunds will be made for any reason.

 

 

First come first serve for indoor booths.

 

In an effort to maintain a balanced festival, we reserve the right to limit the number of exhibitors in each category.
